led by Danilo Kliszcz
Saturdays, Nov. 4 & 11, 2006 ~ 1 – 4:15 p.m.
Crossroads Community Baptist Church, I-90 exit 27
Junction of Routes 505 & 97, Erie, PA
Taking a trip? Trying to translate family papers and
explore your Rusyn or Slav genealogy? You could use the basic ABCs of the Cyrillic alphabet,
and we think we have a fun way to learn! C-RS member Danilo Kliszcz in his casual style
will lead you to untangle your Americanized tongue to get you through the airport signs in
Moscow, Kiev and elsewhere in Eastern Europe. A dozen and more languages use the Cyrillic
alphabet . . . so can YOU! Know where and how to look up words in your pocket phrase book.
Or, pronounce those mysterious words on great-grandfather’ papers and find them in a dictionary.
All in two fun and easy lessons! Fee is $10 (American) or by your donation. Handouts will
include at least 10 languages using variations of the Cyrillic alphabet. Not to worry,
it's a little mind over a lotta matter. Come & see!
