    Easter Traditions

    SUNDAY, MARCH 21, 2010 • 12 noon - 5:00 p.m.

    Carpatho-Rusyn Heritage Museum
    1900 Carlton Road, Parma
    Corner of Broadview and Snow Roads
    2nd floor of Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Center 


    The afternoon will feature an exhibit of Easter basket coverings, paskas and recipes and pysanky. There will be pysanky demonstrations and participation and a paska making demonstration.
    A presentation on the meaning of the Easter basket will be presented throughout the afternoon.

    Paskas, nut and poppyseed rolls, sausage, bakery and other foods will be for sale.
    Come and enjoy lunch at Baba’s kitchen.

    A sales table with embroidered basket covers, lamb butter molds, candles and other items for Easter will be available.

    Please contact Barb Popovich (440 349-1374) if you would like to loan or donate an example of your paska, pysanky or an Easter basket covering that has special meaning.
    Items on loan will be returned after the event.
